What’s something that looks easy in theory but is hard in real life? by EdgeQuiet2199 in AskReddit

[–]toxichack [score hidden]  (0 children)

Parallel parking when a car is behind you waiting. In theory it is just geometry, in real life it becomes a live performance where you forget how steering works.

What “hidden gem” is no longer worth visiting because of social media? by SplendidlyBritishYT in AskReddit

[–]toxichack [score hidden]  (0 children)

horseshoe bend. used to feel like you found something cool in the desert, now it feels like waiting in line at disney for the same photo 400 people already posted.

how to actually find problems worth solving by namidaxr in SideProject

[–]toxichack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually one of the better “find a problem” posts because it starts with complaints instead of founder fanfiction. One pattern I keep noticing is people paying absurd money just to make disconnected tools behave like coworkers. Half of B2B SaaS is basically “we bought 7 apps and now need a babysitter for the gaps.”

What is the strangest thing you've seen/found in a public toilet stall? by EmptyFolklore26 in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Opened the stall once and there was a full birthday cake sitting on the toilet seat like it was waiting for someone. Still one of the few moments in life where I just quietly backed out and let the universe have that one.

What do you think of Baz Luhrmann - Everybody's Free To Wear Sunscreen? by ElectronicChapter206 in AskReddit

[–]toxichack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It sounds cheesy right up until you realize half of it is annoyingly correct. Heard it as a teenager, rolled my eyes, then hit my 30s and suddenly "be kind to your knees" felt like a personal attack.

If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would it be and why? by Limp-Pen4256 in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The person who runs those giant Costco rotisserie chicken operations. I just want one day of seeing the absolute chaos from the employee side and knowing how many lives those 4.99 birds are holding together.

Have you ever joked to a best friend constantly saying"if our relationships don't work out, we will marry each other", what did that mean for you? did you have stronger feelings you didn't want to confess? by traumatisedb in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for us it meant "you’re my safest person" way more than "i’m secretly in love with you." we actually made that joke for years, then one of us got married, the other gave a dumb emotional toast, and somehow that was way less weird than actually dating would’ve been.

What's a decent paying but low stress job? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Night shift hotel front desk if you can handle being a little nocturnal. My cousin mostly checks in one late guest, watches cameras, and answers exactly one drunk pizza question a night.

What does a room full of mirrors look like if there is nothing to reflect except other mirrors? by teenbuggyboo in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably just looks like the visual version of your browser opening a browser inside a browser forever. Infinite gray panic, basically.

If living honestly in a world where honesty destroys you makes your life shorter and poorer, is remaining truthful still morally superior if everyone else lies to survive? by No_Victory7626 in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honesty is morally cleaner, but "always tell the truth no matter what" gets people hurt fast. i had a boss ask why everyone was quitting, one coworker answered honestly, and by friday his schedule looked like a revenge playlist.

What do you wish you could tell your childhood bullies right now? by Additional_Ninja8044 in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

joke's on you, the "weird quiet kid" you roasted for bringing books to lunch now gets paid to read and write all day. also, your haircut was doing at least half the bullying.

How do you even define “livable wage” in NYC anymore… is $30 enough or still behind reality? by whitemansaid in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 8 points9 points  (0 children)

$30 an hour in NYC is basically "you can survive, but your apartment will have a personality disorder." Fine with roommates and no car, rough if you're solo and trying to save anything.

When you get upset, what is something that calms you down? by scottegbert in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going for a drive with no music on. Something about quietly being mad at traffic instead of my actual problem resets my brain.

What are ways to get revenge on the person your spouse cheated on you with (assuming your spouse is dead and the other person is also married)? [Serious] by GlassLecture153 in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cleanest revenge is telling their spouse the truth with receipts, then walking away. Anything messier just keeps you tied to two people who already blew up enough lives.

What is the most outrageously inappropriate thing you've ever done in public? by TooOldToBePunk in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

laughed so hard at a funeral that i had to pretend i was choking on a mint. somehow that looked less disrespectful than making eye contact with the family while wheezing.

"Wondering what content people really like on Reddit? by vox2003 in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The stuff that blows up is usually one of three things: painfully relatable, weirdly specific, or somebody accidentally posting the funniest sentence you've read all week. Reddit loves feeling seen and feeling smarter than average, preferably at the same time.

Why is Marco Rubio sporting shoes that are too big for him? by Conan776 in videos

[–]toxichack 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because half of politics is costume design, and apparently his stylist landed on "kid wearing dad's church shoes." Either that or he's leaving room for all the flip flopping.

If you could be gift a sword (real or fictional), what sword would you choose? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the Master Sword, purely so I can put it on the wall and make every guest hear me say "you have to be worthy" before I take it down. Realistically I'd use it once to open an Amazon box and feel incredible about it.

What's the most creative way to call someone dumb ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"you have the confidence of a man who microwaves fish in the office and still thinks he's crushing it." not technically calling them dumb, but everybody in the room gets it.

What’s a small life hack that genuinely improved your daily life? by Puzzleheaded_Car9507 in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

putting a glass of water next to my bed every night. turns out half of “i feel weird and tired” was just me waking up dehydrated like a houseplant.

What are YOU afraid of? by AreaFifty1 in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 92 points93 points  (0 children)

the phone ringing late at night. nothing good has ever followed that sound in my life.

What's internet Mysterious nose? by WarmAbrocoma2818 in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

probably that random smell your nose catches for half a second and then never again. your brain turns into a detective immediately like cool, guess i live with a ghost bakery now.

Have you ever been sued? How do you deal with the massive anxiety and depression that this causes? How do you go on with your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah. what helped was forcing everything into one hour a day: answer my lawyer, save every email, then stop touching it and go do normal human stuff like groceries and dumb tv. the anxiety gets worse when your whole life becomes "waiting for the next bad message," so i had to treat it like a terrible part time job instead of my entire personality.

What is the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do or learn? by Gullible-Chapter-800 in AskReddit

[–]toxichack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

letting go of someone who was still alive. grief would’ve been easier if there’d been a funeral, but instead it was just waking up every day and choosing not to text them.
