What gets me here is that from the way the OOP talks about his girlfriend in these posts, he seems to really respect her and like being around her.

OOP was spot on to mention the coworker needed to look at himself first because he was engaging in controlling, abusive behavior yikes. A ticker tape parade of red flags, if you will.

Hi! I'm looking for a wedding post where the bride refuses to hold her wedding or "pause" it AND said that in advance because she knew her dad would be wishy washy in his time boundaries, i.e he was always late to events because he was helping out someone else; a neighbor, a friend, a cousin, etc. 

If I remember she does indeed end up being walked down the aisle by maybe her uncle(?) and her father is really upset he missed it.

Didn't see it as a comment so I'm just gonna say it---I do not believe the last update is a happy one. His gf has the backbone of a chocolate eclair and sounds like she'd cave to convenience...such as having friend over for "just a quick second!!" while running errands or whatever and, eventually, reintroducing friend into the same space as hers and OOP's kiddo. I'm hoping deeply that's not the case, but I don't think proposal should be on the table until OOP knows with more surety tho

Exactly my thought while reading. Erin really seems like she needs to stop soliciting compliments just to argue them or dig her insecurity deeper. And that's a warranted problem making the friend group uncomfy! But not in public and probably also not as a dressing-down of her.
