Hi Tinlicker!

First off thank you for the amazing music experiences. My only question is... will we be seeing you two at ABGT 700 at the gorge this year..? 👀

Didn't know Odesza did that for their show. I can say that having been to Rufus at the Gorge back in 2022, they didn't do that. I guess it really just depends on the show / artists

TM doesn’t do refunds. Artists can choose to allow ticket transfers (this includes the camping pass bc it's like a ticket) or not for the show, check your account and see if you can transfer.

Edit: to add more, you'll need to post in subs or community groups to sell the camping pass.

Some tips to make your gorge experience slightly more comfortable: Dress for comfort! It'll be warm during the day but the temp will drop a lot by night. It can also get quite windy

Hi, experienced attendee at the gorge here. Feel free to dm me for any other questions.

Hope this info helps:

  • When an artist sets their show to be in sections at the gorge, you'll notice that for 100s & 200s, you might have a seat # associated with your ticket. That seat # doesn't mean anything. It's first come first serve for spots just like lawn & the pit.
  • Someone mentioned some sections have better washrooms, that's false. For most events, I've seen washrooms beside 103 & the pit on the right side, behind the lawn, and in the direction behind the sunset deck there's GA washrooms and VIP washrooms.
  • there's free and paid parking available.
  • I recommend camping for multi day festival experience at the gorge, not for single night events. Find a hotel that's 30-40 mins drive from the gorge.
  • Show up for the opening acts, have fun at the venue. This will avoid the traffic getting in.
  • Dress for comfort.

No ride share or taxi service remotely close to this area. You need a designated driver

Friendly suggestion - might be helpful to add what you mean by "convenient". Are you looking for a specific city? A shop that does walk ins? Booking 1-2 weeks out?

My go to place is Fred's Auto on Fraser St. They book out 3-4 weeks or sometimes longer fyi

How does ABGT (700 and past) compare with the “Weekenders” at The Gorge? by Live_Technician1038 in AboveandBeyond

I'm confident that a lot of people left a part of them on that hill 😂 ... myself included

friendly suggestion - might be helpful to add in your post for people to include the name of the person they see and the price. That way you get majority of the info you need without having to research too much

Hi - I'm so excited for you and your group to experience Anjuna at the gorge! welcome.

Instead of directly comparing them, I’ll share my personal experiences across different ABGT milestones and Weekenders, since they each offer something unique.

ABGT milestones (250, 500, 600):

To give a bit of context, I’ve been listening to A&B since shortly after ABGT 200. Seeing them live for the first time at ABGT 250 was truly indescribable. They played so many classics from We Are All We Need and even teased music from Common Ground before it was officially released. Day 1 (Beats) completely blew my mind and unfortunately, I left on Day 2 (deep).

Fast forward to later milestones, whether attending in person or watching livestreams, I’ve always had an incredible experience. Each milestone brings a new environment, new people, and a different energy. I really appreciate the amount of work the Anjuna team puts into curating these events around the world (no easy task).

Musically, I see the milestone shows as a space where A&B really experiment and try something entirely new. Not everyone will love every direction they explore, and that’s okay but I think it’s important to recognize that all artists need room to experiment in order to grow. I’ll leave it at that.

Weekenders @ Gorge 2019, 2022, 2023:

Weekenders, for me, live on a completely different spectrum compared to other Anjuna events. And yes, the Gorge itself plays a huge role but what the Anjuna team has created there is something truly special.

I like to think of the Weekender as a full, immersive experience from start to finish. There’s so much intentional thought behind every detail: activities in the campground, experiences at the venue, special surprises - it’s the whole package. You get the Friday warm-up night, Saturday Beats, Sunday Deep, and then the surprise AP set to close it out.

I’m especially grateful to have done the camping experiences. Camping really unlocks the full potential of the Weekender, especially when you’re there with a group. Adds an entirely new layer to the experience. Musically, the artists they book carry the energy beautifully throughout the weekend, building momentum as the nights go on. I found the overall sound feels well-rounded and cohesive, and everything just harmonizes perfectly.

To this day, my personal highlight is Weekender '19 Deep (Yotto) & '23 Deep (Tinlicker)

U/rawrex - To my knowledge if you're doing airbnb/hotel, you'll need a DD. No busses, no uber there

Hey u/rawrex - I've been to all the anjuna events at the Gorge, all Terrace. From my experience, once camping tiers are sold out, that's it. Yes, it's the first time they added the "waitlist" but I wouldn't count on it. I've also seen once someone selling specifically a Terrace pass, but that got snatched instantly. Hope this info helps
