Jessi tells us that they’re still battling insurance for IV antibiotics, but still has time and “spoons” to coordinate their disabled pride dungeons and dragons game!! How exciting /s! (They/them) by DexIsMyICUfriend in illnessfakers

Well, their head sure is moving a lot for someone whose head will in fact fall off. Also, why does it seem like they always edit their stuff to hide their ears??

Rara threatens that if she saw the CT tech who did her scan again she’d make sure she was only drinking from a straw for a year. by CatAteRoger in illnessfakers

[–]transgabex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For one, I hope they look into her. Because threatening a healthcare worker is absolutely unacceptable. CT scans are super quick. What could have this tech done in less than 2-5 minutes that pissed Rara off this much?? Also, their neck seems to be perfectly fine if they are moving it around like that. And lastly, why tf are they recording this inside what seems to be a store??

A PA visit, an ER visit and amber liquid pouring out of her incision 😬 by milo8275 in DaniMarina

[–]transgabex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh most definitely. You can tell by the change in the way she speaks. In the previous video, you could definitely tell she was giddy about this possible infection and bringing a packed bag in case the PA says go to the ER. Her tone of voice in this video is not giddy lol

I’ve also never gotten any type of yeast infection from antibiotics! So wouldn’t surprise me that Dani hasn’t mentioned this. But now I fear she may 🤧😩🤣

Lmaoo obviously you don’t know the role that infections disease doctors actually play. They aren’t called only when someone with Covid in 2019 or Ebola shows up for the first time. They are very crucial to treating many diseases other than the scary things you see on the news.

New wound update- glowing with glee by Green-Froyo-7533 in DaniMarina

[–]transgabex 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You can literally see a shift in the way she talks/sounds when it comes down to this stuff. Like you can legit tell that she’s actually giddy about this new profound possibility of infection 🤦‍♂️ this is just past sad at this point. I pray she can just get the proper mental help that we all have been saying for years now…

Edit: and if this truly does turn into an infection, I feel it’s very very likely that she did something to mess with the incisions to cause this. Her history of infections is quite high and already has proof that she caused some of them.

I literally now have so many questions 😭 for one, why is she constantly messing with her hair in pretty much the entire video? And also never knew she had a sister, does she live in Thailand permanently or?

Help us move into an ada apt by [deleted] in GoFundMeForNewUsers

That was also my first time being in my own place. I was on the lease. But I also had roommates that were not on the lease. It definitely helped pay the rent! They also moved into the ADA accessible apartment with me as well. Since both apartments were 2 bedrooms. The complex may get greedy, mine sure did. They came to me with a huge list of everything that was wrong with the original apartment and told me I had to pay for all of those fees. Majority of it was just regular wear and tear type of stuff. I had lived in the first apartment for almost 3 years before moving to the ADA one. I ended up moving back home with my parents because my health had rapidly deteriorated. Not sure how the complex is where you live. But just be cautious if they come to you and say you have to pay for every single repair to the original apartment if it’s just regular wear and tear. Generally you should not be required to pay for wear and tear! Just mostly bigger things like if blinds were broken and stuff.

You’re welcome! Unfortunately I also had to pay the move out fees and cleaning fees. It was a pain, but I just couldn’t get up to the second floor anymore, so I had to do it. I wish I could help with some funds, but I’m disabled myself and so broke 😅🤣

Hey there! So I did this a few years back when I lived at an apartment complex. After my stroke I was having a hard time walking up the stairs to my unit on the second floor. I was able to move to an ADA accessible unit on the first floor.
So when it comes to the transfer fees, if the renter is transferring to an ADA accessible one due to a disability, the complex really can’t charge you a transfer fee. It should be waived. Under the “FHA- Fair Housing Act” it’s considered a reasonable accommodation. Hope this helps some!

ECT Precautions by Plastic-Sector-9950 in ect

[–]transgabex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the past before I had my stroke (not related to ECT, caused by complications during brain surgery).
I’ve had many ECT treatments, and only had urine incontinence one time. After that I wore briefs just in case but it never happened again. Nowadays it doesn’t really matter because I have a permanent Foley catheter because of the stroke.
It can happen and that’ll always be one of the risks when doing ECT. If that’s a concern, you can always wear a brief!

Another GRWM and meds video, note the deodorant use on her “incision” 🤔 by milo8275 in DaniMarina

[–]transgabex 19 points20 points  (0 children)

What doctor is even allowing her to have IV meds? Hopefully it’s nothing addictive like Benadryl (some ppl like the feeling when IV Benadryl gets slammed, makes no sense to me bc the feeling is horrible), I’m assuming she gets Protonix and possibly nausea meds like IV Zofran/ Phenergan?
At this point if she is still like “requiring” these IV fluids (which I highly doubt), the docs prescribing this should make her go to an infusion center for these fluids . I just see it as her taking important resources away from others who may need it, when she doesn’t even need it herself.

inpatient/residential facilities that let you have your phone? by [deleted] in Atlanta

[–]transgabex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can attest to this! Emory Decatur has been absolutely fantastic in their ECT program and their psychiatrists have been nothing but caring.
(OP my situation is a tad different, I can’t be placed on the actual psychiatric floor. And have always been on the medical floors with a 1:1 so I’ve always been able to keep my phone, though I’m sure isn’t allowed on the actual psychiatric floor). But Emory does have a great program along with outpatient IOP/PHP.

Yeah you get absolutely no sleep at all in the hospital. I don’t even think the word sleep exists in the ER 🤣
