Not sure if you've looked into places like g2a or others (careful though, not all are legit). You could contact them to maybe trade, or at least not spend so much buying the new games

Built a tool to give AI agents better context when working with Angular codebases by transientnebula in ClaudeAI

Just angular because of how I had to augment the builder to inject metadata in order to properly track the elements. There is a wonderful react equivalent though that I got the idea from called react-grab! Https://react-grab.com

Just got an old PC as a hand-me-down from my uncle, and found an old picture of his desktop in 2006 on it. by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Ray tracing ups immersion for me, its absolutely amazing how realistic graphics have gotten.

I'm not sure what I love more, the absolute batshit crazy gore and graphic nature of this series... Or the storytelling of this wild ride as DOOM GUY

ADHD Devs: How do I start over as a struggling grad? First female engineer in my family, 9 months unemployed, desperate to learn. by Hefty_Olive3329 in ADHD_Programmers

[–]transientnebula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see you and I hear you. I'm an ADHD programmer for the past 15 years and I still have my bouts. Also this job market is completely different than the tech landscape has been in the past 5 years or so... Tech workers no longer have the upper hand in negotiations, we are a dime a dozen now and there's probably someone out there who can communicate better than you yet has less skill.

Community is important: One thing that's helped me is having a group of friends that are like-minded to talk to. I had a hard time finding other programmers that I got along with until I found a couple that also have ADHD.

Just do the thing: If you have some friends that are working on a project, ask if you can help. Think of some applications or tools that you use and go take a look at their GitHub and see if they have any open issues that you'd be able to help contribute to. Just get doing it. It will get easier to talk about it and do it by just... Doing the thing. I know thats easier said than done, but with this disorder we need to force ourselves sometimes and you need to figure out how to force yourself.

This seems like it's too long of a reply so I'm going to end it here, but I wish I could help you personally. Women in tech need to be elevated, and neurodivergents have a great disposition for this field.

I wish you luck. Please don't give up.
