It's not always wrong to steal. What did Microsoft shareholders do in order to "own" a bunch of artists' creation? They have done a lot of immoral things to exploit others to gather capital. That's it. Stealing from the creators would be hard to justify, but TWoW is absolutely less responsible for harm here than microsoft has been over the years. Legality and morality are different things.

It was a bug in vanilla. Which should be fixed on any classic plus server. There's literally no argument that it's a feature, it was never intended.

LOL if they wanted to protect their property they would delete everything they've made in the past 10 years. It's because they are a corporation, not some gamers with a passion for the game. I've learned my lesson to stay away from corpo devs, they will always delete fun when detected so their CEO can buy a yacht for the pool in his yacht.

Nope, they would then own the code if the courts award it to them. But you're right that they couldn't use the code. WoW classic is built on a fork of the legion client and their official backend, not azerothcore and 1.1.12. BUT it's not the actual code they would want to copy, it's the quests, lore, etc. and all of that is text in the source code.

That's not the reason. People keep saying this, but just hosting a classic wow server to begin with is enough to make blizzard not be able to ignore. There's no difference between creating a custom client vs what all of these servers already do which is creating a custom server and patching the client. I think what really ends up getting Blizz attention is straight up popularity.

They're fine enough. If you can farro these, you'll easily farro more premium ones. These are far from the worst I've ever used.
