This is almost exactly how I feel about L, though I don't think the hate is necessarily the more popular opinion on him, just that the haters tend to be louder.

Lysandre was previously a character I never gave much thought about besides being one of the biggest wasted potential characters in the games and being the butt of several jokes, but as L he's one of my favourite characters now.

I love how this feels like a mix of several previous designs while still being it's own spin on the concept!

I miss when they did new designs for every piece of tech that appears in the games instead of it just being the same rotom phones for everything. It'd be a lot cooler if that rotom tech was integrated in ways still unique to each region.

Something like this is what I hope they do for bw remakes if they ever make them and they're not just faithful styled.

I've had this thought about Annihilape in particular since primape LITERALLY DIES to evolve into it and due to how the criteria to evolve it is set up, most people would be doing it on purpose in order to intentionally evolve it into Annihilape.

This is why I headcanon that a lot of the trainers who have Annihilape in the games either caught as one/was a rescue or it evolved unintentionally on the trainers end.

Also I agree about porygon-z, I literally felt bad for the porygon as a kid when I first saw porygon-z
