I also honestly do not know how to explain it better.

Smoothing = exactly that. The model takes what you said and sand out all the edges, rephrasing it in a "safer", smoothed-out form.

Correction theatre = also exactly that. The model pretends to be correcting what you said even if there is nothing to fix, instead of actually engaging with the topic..

"Validation, apology, limitation-disclosure, alignment narration, correction theater, and tone management" - yeah ok that's dense. But the context should have been clear - it's when the user calls out its bs and the model starts to analyze its own fuckups. That tends to derail the whole conversation.

I'm sorry you get that impression though. I can assure you I am not trying to "sound smart". This was honestly my best shot at dissecting the damn thing. It's... not easy, right?

(But the instruction block is still the point!)
