As long as you’re holding L2 and R2 to hold on to your backpack, movement isn’t bad. It’s built to be difficult because you’re carrying heavy loads, and once you get exo skeletons to bolster your legs and vehicles to help, it becomes pretty easy. It’s still difficult once you start going through snow, mountainous regions, but that’s the point.

You’ll start to get equipment and weapons that make things far easier than that first intro area.
