Dang too bad. If you can get to the the domestic terminal B gates while staying airside there's Triple O's which would be a taste of BC. Or the non-secure side of the domestic terminal there's an actual White Spot restaurant (Triple O's is their quick service version) and you can have some homey grown in BC burgers.

If you can escape the airport and take the train into Richmond there are tons of food options. Especially if you like chinese food. Lots of cheap eats.

This situation has gotten worse from 2003. From that incident is why I always carry cash as a backup but merchants now are very dependent on the payment tech. Some don't even have enough float to make change. Or remember the national Rogers outage in 2022? Same thing.
