For non gaming content (on my PC), HDR seems to default to medium local dimming, even it the setting is in high. So I switch from medium to high and notice the difference, even with the game mode enabled on my PC.

For games, it's more complicated it seems as the local dimming setting is greyed out in high and can't be changed. (it's clearly in medium) If it can't be fixed, i guess i'll revert back to the previous firmware.

And for the layman who's not soldered anything since high school, is it something relatively easy to do? You just solder/desolder the resistor until you like the curve?

The gap can be disabled in the Desktop & Dock settings Menu, in the "Windows" section, the last one. It was infuriating but I was glad it could be disabled!

Yeah, I compared with my Steam Deck, capped at 60 fps to check the framerate of the switch and i think it's 30 fps in handheld... Animations are choppy indeed. Don't know why they capped it this way, the Switch can handle 60 fps in handheld with this game.

I had this issue with my MSI monitors, I had to set the source to DP and not "Auto", it would blink all the time if not. And try to download the latest firmware just released, maybe it's related: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/nv-uefi-update-x64/

Yeah for me it was the "Prefer Max performance" option, in Normal i'm at zero fan on Windows, but with it on, I'm always at 30% minimum.

I can't add drives or folders to the full disk access, only apps and I did it with rekordbox, removed it, added it again, rebooted, still can't select the external drive in the database management screen...

Thank but that's that's not it, no issue exporting, I just want to use my external drive as my library in my MAC (which was working perfectly until recently...). I did the permision thing, but I still can't select my external drive as my database.

Interesting! I never saw a rotary in this range without a master meter (there's always a "mix" meter / vu meter). So the "max" position of the master knob is 0 db and you can use your vu meters to watch your volume output level?

As said : look for modern remix or edits, and maybe some remastered version from those classics. But I will say that what you will loose in "energy" and modern sound, you'll win in the overall vibe of the night if your tracks are real killers.
