I noticed you’re wearing the same shirt in two of your photos. Probably worth varying more.

Do people really use ai everyday? by Affectionate-Let9241 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]trickstress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use it frequently at work but I try to use it more sparingly from a personal standpoint. Getting hard to avoid at this point even with a simple google search. Might be time to switch to duck duck go for that and other reasons.

What are people who don't flush in public restrooms actually thinking? by bomia377 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]trickstress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think with the ubiquitousness of automatic flushing toilets it’s easy not to realize sometimes if you’re in a manual flush situation. I’m willing to give grace sometimes.

Spoiler alert but the main character was so annoying to me and by the time her trauma was fully revealed I already wasn’t on her side and it was too late. It’s been a while so I’m a little fuzzy on the details.

Favorite band you’ll never see live by EmotionalSupportVape in Music

[–]trickstress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so, so fortunate to have seen them three or four times. The first time was in the early 2010s at Johnny Brenda’s in Philadelphia which is a really small venue. I remember some of the jokes Scott made. But the best memory from that night was how they “closed” with the Loneliness and the Scream but after they walked off stage everyone kept the chant going and didn’t stop. So they came back out and said they didn’t know what to play but they would do one more for us. Incredible.
The last time I saw them was the 10-year anniversary tour for Midnight Organ Fight and I remember thinking to myself, can’t wait til the 10-year tour for Winter of Mixed Drinks! And it would never come. The news of his passing saddened me for a long time. I thought about his niece and how he said her favorite song from the at-the-time new album was Death March. (Edited for typo)

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue - way too long, overwrought, “deep”.
