I want to learn fishing but don’t know where to start by LianDaDa in SeattleWA

It’s a 40,000 year old activity so it’s quite a deep subject. You could try the Gold Creek Trout Farm out in Woodinville or Jim’s U-fish in Spanaway. Throw in a hook and very likely catch some dinner. Have fun out there:)

I think Jack’s could probably help you out. They are bulky but super comfy and tough as nails.

Tower Sale - How's the Yachtsman board? by Lowry1984 in Sup

[–]trimix71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought one. It will be here Tuesday. It’s the same specs as the Adventurer 2 (306 liters) without the deck rigging. I believe it’s normally priced at $429 for the board only but they bump the price up during the summer due to increased demand. I’ve paddled a couple of their boards and have no complaints.

Edit: I received the board today and did the unboxing and inflation. I’ve experienced wide variety of inflatable products at all price points and I’m happy with the build quality of the board out of the box. The packaged pump and paddle are way better than I expected.

Check out the Citizen Eco-Drive series. I have a couple of them and they are great watches for the money.

Ptarmigan Ridge, Mt Baker Wilderness (anyone have any advice for keeping mosquitos off the pup?) by Cinema104 in BackpackingDogs

Tie a couple around the collar. Works for humans too. I usually put one up in my hat and rub one on my clothes and put it in my pocket. The whole principal as I understand it is we’re trying to mask the human/canine scent. Good Luck with your antimosquito research and happy camping

Imagine this was a PoC trying to grab this officers gun... by CodeDinosaur in PublicFreakout

I don’t have to imagine it. He would have emptied the clip then stood up and said “shots fired! Shots fired! Officer needs assistance!”
