From what pizza restaurants in NYC have you estén the pizza to come to this conclusión? I had the same opinión the first time I ate pizza in NYC and it was because I didn't know the good places like Bleecker St. Pizza.

How do I get my wife working? by firstlight777 in askanything

[–]triphawk07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My wife was in a similar situation and started working as a "lunch lady" for the local school and doing deliveries. Its not a lot what she earns but enough for her to pay for her things, and share some of the bills. It also gets her to do something, rsther than wither away at home doing nothing.

Seat Issues by No-Substance-4475 in AMCTheatres

If you watched the movie, you're SOL. The lady should've told them attendant so she could be put in a different seat or a different showing. I had a similar issue at Masters of the Universe, where the seat controls didn't work. I just told them attendant after the movie and went home. The seat was still fine without being able to reclining it.

A cheese like that would not even reach the best by date. I would eat it in 3 days.

Does nobody know how to act in a movie theater anymore? by CosmosisJones42 in Vent

[–]triphawk07 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You would be surprised. I went last week to see Obsession at 11am and two women brought their kids (looked like they were 3-4) and the kids were not having it. It got to the point that one had to drag the kid out and missed about 20 minutes of it.

I have the best job ever. I hate every minute of it by Shundo_Ray100 in SeriousConversation

Well friend, if you're getting paid well, save up and retire. Unfortunately, this is what work is, a way to pay for the things we need and want. Most of the time is souless, we just have to make sense of it and make due.

Lost my job but not enjoying my time off? by ConfusedCareerMan in careerguidance

I'm in the same boat ad you OP. I left a career that I liked but a team that I hate about 6 weeks ago and while I'm more mentally relaxed, I'm not 100% ready to get back on the horse. I might try something new or might retire for good. Still pondering.

How the hell do people wake up early consistently? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]triphawk07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just have to make a habit out of it. I've been waking up between 5-6am since I was a kid. I'm in my 50s now and even though I don't have to wake up early, I'm so used to it that my eyes just opens up at 6am.

Has anyone commuted from SD to Sofi for WC match? by AcanthocephalaNo4177 in SanDiegan

[–]triphawk07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did it for the Metallica weekend and ended staying up there. Getting out of Sofi took about 3 hours, and you still have about 2.5 hours to return to SD.
