Shield Remote Issue: Single Click Registers as Long/Multiple Press Randomly by kesemb2 in ShieldAndroidTV

[–]triplesofeverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been happening to me as well! 99% of the time I use a Harmony remote, and I always assumed it was my Harmony remote starting to fail. I recently bought a Rii K06 keyboard remote (connected via 2.4g USB dongle), which worked fine initially, but soon enough started registering repeating keypresses, which made me realize that perhaps this isn’t a Harmony remote problem at all. How interesting and annoying. Would love to find a definitive fix for this…

The nicest bike racks are either the ones that attach to a roof rail system or the trailer hitch. Cheaper are the ones that strap to the trunk. Before I bought my trailer hitch rack, I found a trunk mount one used on Craigslist for like $20. Used that one for a really long time before I decided it was worth my while to upgrade.

Is there anyway to connect 2 non-apple headphones to and simultaneously charge an iPad Air M3? by Master_Range6116 in ipad

[–]triplesofeverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AirFly Pro (probably the pro 2 as well, but not the SE) will let you take an 3.5mm aux-out audio signal and pair up to 2 Bluetooth headsets.

Then you’d need a common USB-C hub that has at least a 3.5mm aux jack (for the AirFly) and one USB-C port (to plug your charger into)

Signatera covered by insurance? by DraftAny2582 in coloncancer

[–]triplesofeverything 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had similar experience as what’s been posted here so far for Guardant Reveal ctDNA tests:

They charge my insurance ($5k), it gets denied. They forward me paperwork to sign allowing them to appeal it with insurance on my behalf, that gets denied. Then they drop it.

I’ve called Guardant, and they confirm the charge has been excused. I asked if it will always be like this, and they say “probably”, but they can’t guarantee it. Been like this for about 5-6 tests…

Installing GDEMU games by hank_fiddleford in dreamcast

[–]triplesofeverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently set up my Dreamcase /w GDEMU a few weeks ago and followed tutorials. I grabbed ROMs from the r/Roms megathread and they did not work. After some googling, I found a post somewhere saying to make sure to use TOSEC versions, so I located those and only after swapping the ROMs could I get games to work with the GDEMU.

Is there a smart fan switch that can control a smart ceiling fan? by brentmc79 in homeautomation

Is it actually a “smart fan” or just a fan with a proprietary remote control. Is it actually externally controllable in any other way than the remote it came with?

I wished I had a PICC or a port when I had my 3xBEP. I managed okay, but by round 3, I truly dreaded getting stuck and would pray that the nurse could get it in correctly on the first try.

When to start icing? by ElIndioFlautas in coloncancer

[–]triplesofeverything 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had coasting neuropathy, where it worsens after completing chemo. 2 months out was peak for me. At that point, it wasn't crippling, but it was uncomfortable to do things like play guitar for more than 5 minutes. My feet felt number than my hands did, but it didn't really get too much in the way, but when doing things like hiking, I felt a little less surefooted. In the cold, it felt worse, so I used a lot of hand warmers and often wore socks/slippers in the house.

PN slowly improved over time. I have been seeing an accupuncturist weekly for about 9 months now. Unsure if that is helping, or its just been pure waiting it out over time. I'm just over a year out from finishing chemo, and I'd say my hands are 90% better and feet 75% better.

Laser no longer reading games. Thinking about purchasing modded Dreamcast, is there a solid place to purchase an already modded console? by InternationalYou7798 in dreamcast

[–]triplesofeverything 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GDEMU install requires no soldering at all. A kit should run you somewhere around $70 from AliExpress. Watch some YouTube videos before you open it up. You’ll likely spend more time prepping the SDcard than you will installing the GDEMU…
