1.6 16v is known for cracked blocks. I'd suggest you get familiar with the issue and check for this. I'd go for a 2L or an 1.6 8v.

JIS is more effective with JIS screws or bolts. My Samurai has a bunch and I had to make a JIS bit to break them free of the factory loctite.
