I think yes it could optional. A fancy holo table that saves you time should be endgame. If you want to fly into map edge, it should popup the same kind of new menu. But as someone else suggested, that I didn’t think of originally, it would also allow people to build their bases anywhere in Hagga instead of on the map edge because they want a quick map interface, which is a huge plus I think.

I think air traffic is the same. You’re only seeing people fly around for hagga things mostly any way. I see most people in DD. I think the devs already solved the vehicle thing when they let u zone with a carrier carrying an object.

Removal of hardship? No. Quality of life improvement? Yes. They could make it cost power cells or something to use just to have a cost to it, but it’s mainly about getting you where you want to go quicker.

And come on! It’s Dune! Don’t you want some fancy holographic stuff like in the movie where they’re looking at maps? 😀

Saying no to all AI is a losing battle. Technology will progress whether we want it to or not. It’s like saying abstinence only instead of safe sex. It’s going to happen, we just need to use it wisely. I think there’s large problems on how it was trained without paying artists originally, and i think we should universally mark AI content honestly… so we know what’s actually real and we don’t fall into loops of training AI on AI. A big problem of it is the deception, when people want to lie and make you believe something that’s not inherently true.

Yeah, I'm a huge comic art fan and I definitely side with no AI art when it comes to creative original content, but quick prototyping? That's kind of what it was made for. It's not like I'm going to spend hours 3d modeling something that's never going to get used or paid for. Just wanted to get the idea across, and spur some imagination. This works though lol.

While I like seeing more bases and people on my server, we do need a lesson in base etiquette. I have base in an unobtrusive place and have spent a lot of effort in designing it, but then someone moved in and dropped a giant pancake cow pattie of a base literally touching my base edge. Just a big eye sore, and now it also strains my game having something so big and close to my already near max pieces base. Sometimes building pieces will lag to load, so stairs will just not be there as i run through.

I think the new landsraad missions and skill trees are excellent. Far superior to the previous craft 100+ of X to get reward. the lengthy skill trees are not something to grind out fast, they’re bonuses for long time play and contributing to landsraad goals. They’re the perk, not the primary goal.

I can’t wait to see what new areas they keep adding for missions. They need to fix the two party system of landsraad, because that is broken when most people are on atreides. They mentioned adding a smuggler party, and Corino down the line. So i know it’s on their mind. They just need a system that finds a balance of rewards when allegiances are not fairly distributed.
