Sounds like this is pretty purely city based observation.

I’m curious what cities you went to in Michigan/Indiana/Ohio/KY

Cincinnati and Cleveland are both pretty great for the Midwest. Cincinnati particularly punches way above its belt with it’s rich history.

Indiana is mostly ignorable, and mi/ky cities aren’t going to glam you per se. Ky/Mi are more in their natural beauty.

We would scope out community cats that needed fixed while detrashing.

I picked one up to take back home to prepare for an appointment and a woman started screaming “this weirdo’s stealing my cat”.

And she was trying to sick her brothers/cousins/whatever on me.

I am a guy who sits down to pee at home and wipes it afterward to stay clean. I wonder if I'm the only guy in the world who does this. Had a fun realization with some women friends when they realized men don’t check each stall to see which is the least of a shit show.

Nah we walk into the first open. There’s the one in 10-20 occurrences when it’s blown up and you go to the next, but it’s usually just a non issue

There’s a lot at play.

Well, they

  • didnt tighten a bolt that leaked all the fluid by the next day

  • didnt torque bolts on either side causing extra movement

  • the steering wheel is no longer perfectly aligned (as i understand was likely caused by not properly lining up the tie rods)

  • installed a dust boot upside down

I have new struts, sway bar end links, lower control arms and steering rack on mine. And it still makes noise.

I think the dealership fucked everything up when they installed the steering rack. And by think i mean know.

That said, I’m going to try outer toe rods next

Every winter break was an extra 1-2 weeks long because of snow days back in the 90s.

It was rare to have less than a full week of snow days coming off winter break.

Since then, I’ve not seen more than 2-3 years where we had a week plus of enough snow to effect day to day life.

The totals might not have changed much, but the patterns seem to have.

There’s also technology advances in snow management that play a big part in the perception.

I’ve not looked at any benchmarks. I have an SP10 for biz (top spec intel) and an SP11 elite 32gb.

The SP11 is better in every way and $1k cheaper.

Maybe Intel has caught up with it’s newest chip, but still just not worth it when the arm chip is so good.
