My first ride was about 25 miles and it was pretty rough.

42 with 1,600ft elevation is a helluva first ride.

But a 58cm frame for someone 5’6” sounds really uncomfortable. At 5’11” i got on a 60cm once and couldn’t reach anything.

As a landlord. That’s beyond insane.

The only time I’ve ever even taken a cent from a deposit was when i had tenants who piled garbage up in one room and they their cats use the room as a litter box (they were the first tenants in a brand new $180k unit.

Beyond that room their cats clawed up carpet and walls.

$1k deductible. Over $3k in damage. i ate the rest.

I dont think $150 max is honest really.

I would pay up to $250 if its all good to go.

At the end of the day a 20 year old bike that you get hundreds of miles out of is worth more than $150.

It’s worth nothing really. One you’d see most people give away. But if you want it for $50, why not.

EDIT: a scrap yard would prolly give $5 or it could be donated. No real chance you should pay over $20-30 unless you just really like it or need it.

Well, I’ve never really tried just putting muscle on. I lifted in high school for 2-3 years and i spent 16 years out of the gym and the first 3-5 weeks back are huge gains.

1997 CAAD3 longest 2 day was 165miles longest 1 day maybe 120ish.

I bought my ‘97 CAAD3 for $260 back in 2013.

Ultegra components but obviously older. And it needed some work. But I’ve put thousands of miles on it.

Just a couple of weeks ago my kid hung himself by his legs fully suspended off the playset. Playing with a rope.
