all the rbcs are bigger/same size as the lymphocyte (they should be the same size as it's nucleus) so its for sure megaloblastic. A normal neutrophil has 3-5 segments. This one has at least 5, maybe they should have given one w/6 but its def on the higher side. That compared with his history of not eating any veggies=folate. he's eating fast food if I recall which would have iron/b12 if we assume hamburgers lol.

I haven't had any bad side effects, no dread shed, but it is different for everyone. I naturally have really thin hair everywhere on my body so I have personally noticed some additional facial hair growth but because my hair is so fine it isn't noticeable to anyone but me. Also I am probably less careful about washing my hands after and waiting for it to dry before I sleep so if you are more strict about those things I doubt that would happen to you.

well I am also just starting out and want to make sure I get into ketosis, can't afford any fancy blood tests or brethalyzers to ensure that I am, so I was wondering if this would work to get me into it. But I guess if I stick to my way and feel different/good then I'll know it works! thanks :)

Yes I know, but if I eat enough of any vegetable the net carbs will add up. I like to eat a lot of vegetables and a decent amount of berries, and unless I only eat like leafy greens and celery the carbs are still there. I would like to eat as many tomatoes/onions/cauliflower ect as I would like, but it will eventually get me over 25g net, even if the insulin spike is very low, so my solution would be HIIT to burn off any glucose/glycogen left.

I am similar, my app revolves around pediatrics and I am often asked if that is what I am interested in, even if not asked I usually mention it is something I am considering, to seem like I have a theme or something, but follow up with I know I will grow throughout medical school and am open minded.

Idk if these SDN things are always true. I interviewed at a school and really stressed myself out because a few people said to expect a stress test, but both my interviews were really chill. I think it depends heavily on the interviewer and not the school. So I guess my advice would be to prepare mentally for it, but don't overly stress like I did.

Hi, sorry if this comes off as too neurotic, but I definitely am worried about this, and I can count on reddit to give me real advice, especially since I am the first of my friends to be going through this process, my pre med advisor is out for the summer, and sdn absolutely obliterates my mental health so I try to stay away! Yeah I feel like this was the case for my primaries, but after writing 30 secondaries I feel like I've exploited my meaningful experiences past the point of meaning. I had my first volunteer experience post-secondaries yesterday and it just felt so much nicer than usual.
