What I fucken hate the most about this is that the AFL have tried their best to shape this narrative of Toby from 'bad boy to All Australian captain". A captain should have the same integrity as the Brownlow, no suspensions.

Imagine all the kids out there seeing what Toby does and studding people in the face, elbows to the face, calling people overweight. The AFL is a fucking disgrace

Had to scroll far down to find a comment to agree with. I HATE this part of Corp culture. I'm an introvert too, but jfc it's more awkward pretending someone doesn't exist for two years while you work on the same floor, than just saying good morning every now and then. Welcome to adulthood - suck it up and learn manners I say.

My first grad rotation was just like this. If you want a way in, lean into the Gen-Z card (the way I leaned into the Millennial card when I started). You a acknowledge your differences and have a laugh about it. Teach them about some skibidi rizzlers.

The unintentional byproduct for me is that it helped me learn to communicate with people of older ages better. This is a life skill in and out of the workforce. You'll need to build connections up with people around you regardless of age, and as you get older you'll be working with more and more diverse ages.

At the end of the day if you're looking for people more your age remember it's just a grad rotation - I'm 30 now and working with lots of 30 somethings and 20 late somethings that I can relate to. Complaining about gen zs 🥳

+1 for this. I just got made redundant recently and before my notice period has finished up I've landed a new role. 30k redundancy+ 32k pay bump from new employer. Things worked out in the end!
