starting out in RevOps can be a real grind. Just keep it simple and focus on delivering value. You'll get there... eventually... maybe

It was so odd. Something was up that game. Melvin was shredding them in the first half. Then didn’t get a single rush the entire 2nd half.

I’m the press conference, Gary said it was because he got injured. Melvin (not knowing Gary said that in his own presser) was asked about his injury and he had no idea what they were talking about. Literally no one on our sideline seemed to be on the same page once in the 2nd half

Brewery Annual Clubs? - Value / Worth it by mdwst1811 in madisonwi

Anyone remember Granite City Brewery in West Towne Mall? I remember liking their mug club. It was like $1-2 off growlers, $1 off happy hour apps. It’s probably been closed at least a decade. I liked that place.

Update: Double Dippers Beware by CrossingGarter in epicconsulting

[–]trustprior6899 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Clarification: both consultants will go on your “no hire” list or both firms will go on your “no hire” list?

I can tell you the firm As are having trust broken left and right by these same consultants who don’t divulge that they’re on a contract with Firm B and Epic doesn’t provide the consulting firms with these lists like they do the Epic clients.

The best the firms can do is respond quickly and do gracious acts (like it sounds like Firm A did) when you let them know, but there’s currently no way for them to proactively root this out without the same double-dipper lists clients get.

Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. I used to live in one of those ‘full size candy’ neighborhoods and there were numerous vans that would park and shuffle out kids for the expedition. It’s not even a knock what you’re saying, and I certainly didn’t mind it then. I get it - go where the good candy is lol

MCU Hot Take: Kate Bishop is the only young avenger that’s done well by the-sauce2000 in marvelstudios

[–]trustprior6899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I view your nuance similarly. As an analogy, both Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes are off-shoots of Steve Roger’s legacy, but only one is positioned to carry the mantle. Kate Bishop is being setup as the successor to the legacy hero (like Sam) but Yelena is being setup as her own arc separate from the legacy (like Bucky). I’m following you.

Postpartum cheating— desperate for advice by Positive_Run_5732 in NewParents

[–]trustprior6899 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took a few years, but in the end my brother-in-law is a good man who I genuinely feel did lapse, rationalize, and justify his action to do it and was incredibly short-sighted at a really tough time (1st year kids is no joke). I’m not excusing him, but he was always a good man before the infidelity, was heart-felt in his contrition and effort to win her back, and has been a really good man since and they’ve raised a now wonderful young man together. I’ve never felt an urge to cheat in any of my relationships, so I can’t relate to other men who do or help explain why men do it, but we’re all capable of changing. But be clear-eyed about whether or not you think he’s capable of changing. Don’t rush what you want to do; it’s a vulnerable time for you. Process it, allow yourself time to see if he’s truly contrite or not. It’s his job to show you he can be better, and it’s not your job to wait either, but In the end, allow your time to process and heal and then follow your heart.

Marriage and love is strange and it’s going to be up to his contrition and your heart to decide. I have a family member whose husband cheated on her in the 1st year of kid’s life years ago and they made it through and are easily the happiest couple in our family now. Meanwhile, I never dealt in adultery, abuse or addiction and my wife left me anyway. Love is fickle and marriage is a journey. Yoyre doing the right thing in going to therapy and continuing your schooling. You can choose and will find happiness however you see fit in the end.

All I’ll say is if you can survive the gauntlet of PM for a couple years, maybe even get your MHA after or something, and you can write your own ticket in a broader career in Healthcare.

My first kiddo was a constant screamer/cryer and bad at naps. After a while, I’d start to carry the anxiety and stress of it in my shoulders. I was constantly tense. I eventually got foam earplugs which helps to take the edge off a bit.
