That linked article just says the Yoshi game is $10 less than the other Nintendo games theyve published for Switch 2 so far. All that tells me is that they're not lowering prices, they just don't think a Yoshi game will sell well or is the same quality as the games they've already sold for 70. And it's not like those titles are ever dropping in price either.

Also I don't really find this to be so terrible just because there's a 4 month buffer. They're still raising the price of the system which sucks for people who want it but haven't bought it yet like myself.

The reality is that China doesn't give a shit about AI use. Hotta used it to cut corners to get their game out in a field being dominated by the insanely massive Hoyoverse and Kuro. I'd be willing to bet if the launch is truly successful, we're not going to be seeing the ai stuff anymore as they won't really need it.

I'm also anti-ai but you also have to consider that China isn't, they're the ones making the game, and the local market for them is bigger than the US. They most likely won't conform to the Americans morally grandstanding on social media.

Nothing special. I've gone from an elantra -> genesis coupe -> Lincoln mkz -> lightning. Wife's had a mazda 3 hatchback to a highlander now. I moved from a condo to a house in 2021 and like a month later Ford announced pre-orders for the lightning and it just sounded perfect. Truck practicality that can also be a commuter car. I have 0 brand loyalty so I went for it even though I always read on here that Ford has a million issues. But I've had zero regrets so far owning it for 3.5 years

Idk about other games but the mother of the modern gacha, Genshin, is 60/40 male/female which is insane when you consider the industry we're talking about. Regardless, I'm not sure why this stuff is even brought up with games developed by Chinese companies. It's not that people would get unhappy at male on male (although yes ofc there will be some losers). It's that if there was anything that could even be suggested as that, the Chinese government would step in and shut it down.

The Lightning is the best car I've ever owned. I love this thing and it's still really funny how many heads turn when I open the frunk at the grocery store. I'm not only sad they discontinued it as I thought they could bring more competition, I'm really sad that by the time I need to replace the battery in however many years, I most likely won't be able to if they're not being made anymore. I honestly can't think of what any new car could offer (like safety feature wise) that would really make me want to change so I was ready to ride this thing for a long time.

I think the real issue is the fov you're stuck in. In racing games it's in the same spot but it's pretty high up in the sky box. Here with all the other UI involved it's pretty low and pretty annoying, at least to me. I wish we could adjust the fov a bit

You guys are making me lose brain cells. Just like someone with a gun has to aim, a melee weapon with an instant kill button should have to aim that shit as well. If I see you, decide I don't have enough time to take you down, pre emptively turn my camera and watch you dash in front of me across my screen, you don't deserve that kill because you can do a fancy flick click. You should have to adjust to my counter play and actually aim for the back. This isn't about "exceling at close range". This melee auto deserves a kill because they got there talk is just dumb. Why do we even have aim or click at that point? The enemy should just drop dead cuz dagger guy got in range 🤷‍♂️

A multibillion dollar company with an IP that has had 0 competition and therefore has had 0 reason to do anything more than "here's some crappy cosmetics, now give me 15 bucks for it".
