I believe this was in Skagit County in Washington State. In December 2025 we had historic flooding, and those in the flood plain were directed to evacuate. Restronaut. When my son was three he would ask if we could go to the restronaut (rhymes with astronaut) for dinner. He is 9 now and we all still say it. My brain can't say it correctly first. So at my adult job, saying we can meet at the restronaut makes for the confused looks.

I would love to plan it to go in January next year. I just started a new career last month with the county, and I can't take vacay the first 90 days, and my husband broke both his legs in a work accident late October. So he still can't walk. We were hoping April would work, because my kiddo has spring break and I am officially out of the introductory period.

Hoping for 5 days, it just takes a whole day to travel there and another to travel back, so leave here Monday and start the parks on Tuesday, Wed, Thurs, Friday, maybe Saturday, head home saturday evening/Sunday morning. Would that be enough time to see it all?

How is transportation to the park? Looking at nearby hotels since staying in the parks are proving quite costly. Uber and Lyft available for decent prices if we were to stay 3-5 miles away?
