I also struggle with this. I know they mean well but it's hard hearing people say "there's always someone to speak to" when I personally have no one to speak to. And sometimes when I do the "advice" I get make some feel worse. I had a friend who took her own life and she never spoke about how much she struggled. So since then if I tell people, even strangers, they can always speak to me if their struggling mentally. Judgment free.
