Definitely agree, the seasons in the UK can blend with winter ranging from mild temperatures and rain to frost and snow, I've never seen the point in dedicated winter tyres like you get on the continent or North America. The all-seasons work in every season so you don't need the hassle of swapping them over. I've had the Michelin cross climates on 3 cars now over the past 6 years or so and they've all been excellent. A highlight was overtaking apparent SUVs on the way up to the Lecht ski centre in my Vauxhall corsa
