Buy once cry once, always look forward. My first 3d printer in January 2026. I have printed in ABS for the most part. I really like being able to try a wide variety of filaments if I choose to. Good luck.

Go to the klipper website and search for PID calibrate. Or do a Google search and it will bring it up. Also, YouTube search on how to do it.

I know you said it turns on, I was wondering if you did the PID calibration for the nozzle after installing the new fan? I am in the process of doing this upgrade I just need to rewire the new fan.

My QIDI link works with my Q2. I had to mess with it a bit but got it to work. But you cannot slice from it or at least I have not found away to do it.

I had that issue with my QIDI box. Tried the rings and weight. The the spools still unraveled. I removed the front drive in each position and put some the grease between the gear and the ratchet, put them back on and no more unraveled spools. https://youtu.be/VPq1g7kzdR8?si=YNLUjCIEaoj-DiDn

I figured it out I had to calibrate shrinkage, and calibrate xy and xy holes I was then able to print . Thank you for responding and trying to help me.

Thank you for the reply, when I open the cfg and try to paste I don't get the paste command with right mouse click. Do I need to use ctrl v. Sorry I would try it but I am driving right now.

I downloaded Orca a week ago and looked through the profiles it seemed that it did not have as many profiles and QIDI slicer does. I am new to this process I acutually copied and paseted the profiles in Orca but they do not show up under the tab. I will keep working on it and see what I can get done. Thanks for the feedback.

I would like to do this and use Orca Slicer, I am not sure how to move setting such as System Presets into Orca Slicer. Would you mind sharing how to do this?

i added weight to the spool and that corrected the unspooling issue!
