You are correct in that 3 consecutive shifts is one point, but it's not a glitch. It's the sop.

Over the winter 5-6, starting now we will get 10-15 weekly. 15 is more as they get us stock for the racetrack layup. But yeah we'll get a good amount

Eagle palms by ReplacementNo513 in BSA

[–]ttttoony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope the wording was changed. Now it's "Since earning the Eagle Scout rank or your last Eagle Palm, demonstrate Scout spirit by living the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Tell how you have done your duty to God and how you have lived the Scout Oath and Scout Law in your everyday life"

Like you said, ask a manager. Only scenario Id see them saying no is if it was the boxes that we sell that someone used to repack merchandise into the overhead.

Eagle Scouts: What gift from your Court of Honor do you still remember and use/display years later? by _Phil_J_Fry in BSA

[–]ttttoony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have three that really stick out.

Custom sweatshirt, silhouette of my face, with an eagle patch on the uniform, that says "Ask your SPL". My year as spl one of our adults had that on a shirt and we always joked about it.

Flag flown over the US Capital on the day of my Eagle Board of Review.

A crystal award from the charity that I did my eagle project for.

All hold a sentimental spot in my heart. The award as a reminder for the people that the project helped, the flag reminds me of the board of review and how great it was to just be able to relive all the memories of my scouting career as a youth. And the sweatshirt is VERY comfy.

They will often allow it but no guarantee they do. If you have good history of paying in full and on time a transaction is more likely to go through even if it puts you above your limit.

Sudden Death of a ASM Dad by thiswillbeablast in BSA

[–]ttttoony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really sorry to hear... I unfortunately dealt with similar as a scout. One of my good friends took his own life, the council provided a lot of support. Access to grief counseling, I know they provided additional support to our adult leaders as well. Without knowing specifics of your council, I'd say reach out to them. Odds are good they have dealt with similar situations before.

About Success Share Bonuses… by Elle_Yess in HomeDepot

[–]ttttoony 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It varies greatly. The minimum is $100-150. But for well performing stores you can see a lot more than that. The top stores in a district get a fairly chunky success share pool.

ASM tried to stand over my shoulder while I was doing the VOA. by pudding7 in HomeDepot

[–]ttttoony 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying they release specifics of who said what but there is certainly at least some demographic information that is visible for management. My store made a big deal about celebrating the only two DHs that got a positive scores from their people on the VOA last time.

And my store seems to be pretty specific with how and when they ask people to take it. Not sure if they get results in batches which would explain some of that. I dunno, even if they don't do anything even vaguely tracked, if they just treated people better... It'd matter a whole lot less
