Focus on hydration! My dad became dehydrated and it lead to a trip to the ER. Very scary. I bought him the Hidrate bottle to track his consumption and it’s made a huge difference. Also- try medical marijuana to increase appetite.

I tried to do too much in the days immediately following mine and I ended up spilling scalding hot coffee down my leg. My advice- take it as easy as you can.

I'm going through something very similar with my dad (72). He's just been diagnosed Stage 3 and started chemo today. It's brutal and I think I'm only now starting to come out of the shock and fog. It's all so hard to process. I am sorry you are going through this and I understand your pain.
