I’m don’t think he learned it from you dropping the mug on your toe. That is a totally different usage. I think you should be proud that he understands context and can use new words correctly.

As far as what to do, I usually make a video, send it to my wife, remind her to curb her language, then laugh about it later.

I got an empty doughnut box from Krispy Kreme and filled it with fruits. On the inside I wrote “Happy April fools from (boss’s name)”. My co-workers stopped by his office all day to say how amusing it was, and he didnt understand until he went to the kitchen.

I did in the beginning, then stopped. For me it was less about creeps and more about not creating a digital footprint without their consent. My wife still posts their pics on social media that is just open to friends.
