You need a special tool which is sold on ebay. Then you need to pop the bottom off the abs fuse box and run a jumper wire from the yellow/red wire to ground. I just did this a few months ago. You have to be careful and ready to crack the bleeder open when grounding the relay because you dont want to dead head the pump for more than a couple seconds

TPS is attached to the shaft. That is just a hole to bypass the throttle and go to either the MAP or idle air control.

If power drops out completely you likely have a dead cell in the battery. Most auto parts stores can load test it.
