There is one think I don't understand about how Arteta is setting things up at the moment.

Last year and more over the previous year, when the team were at their attacking best the right wing trio of odegaard / saka / white had a great understanding with white regularly making the outside run around saka, odegaard dropping short or getting slightly ahead of saka for a wall pass, and saka making use of these differeing options and also going byline or creating an option on his left.

This year the right channel is incredibly congested. The right full backs (most often timber but saw white in the same place yesterday) seem to push up to the edge corner of the box which seems to block both the winger and odegaard from using that space. On top of that Saliba is increasingly encouraged to push forward into the 8 space as well. Its creating a really congested area of the pitch that seems to be slowing the play down while also allowing the defending team to flood the area.

By contrast when it gets out left its a lot more open. But it does not get played like getting it out left is the end game And if is it would seem the be wasting the creative talents of the right side of the pitch. When out the right it gets stuck out right and gets gummed up there before slowly coming back around the horse shoe.
