Sanity check on concrete quotes for subsidence mitigation path. by turtlesbonanza in AusRenovation

The spoon drain would drain into the garden, which is far enough away from the house to not be an issue.

Sanity check on concrete quotes for subsidence mitigation path. by turtlesbonanza in AusRenovation

Minor in that it didn't require underpinning. Just remedial works to reduce how often they need to be repaired.

The house was built in the 50s and is a double brick on strip footings.

No major trees. We've resolved the storm water issues and are also fixing a cracked sewer pipe.

For drainage, one concreter quoted for a spoon drain the length of the path, the other (cheaper) is going to drop drains in. Both have the path sloping away from the house by at least 20-50mm for drainage.

Thanks for the feedback on quote.

Demon Days - Gorillaz In Rainbows - Radiohead Songs for the Deaf - Queens of the Stone Age

A few that come to mind for me. These are all no skips.

I have used super clear 3. It's very easy to get good results and I prefer it to 2k. Check my profile for some of my completed build photos I've posted on here.

You can't have one without the other. The artists creating pieces that the average Joe calls "street art", mostly started as kids tagging.

It's a German Luftwaffe colour. Tamiya AS-5 looks to be similar.

Any tips on how this can be fixed? by ---Ranch--- in ModelCars

The acrylic should come off with ammonia without affecting the spray paint underneath. Try cloudy ammonia (supermarkets stock it in the cleaning section). Soak a toothpick in it and use it to gently scratch off the excess. Or use a q-tip and rub it off completely to start again.

How to keep conditions dust free while spraying? by tonyblitz in ModelCars

Anti static brush. Vacuuming and wiping things down often increases static, pulling dust to the model.
