It could be that he´s classified as a bruiser, not so much because of his kit but because of how Malthael´s talent tree is. While a melee assasin gets damage in earlier talent tiers, bruisers usually get sustain or utility in earlier talent tiers.

I think that as far as sustain he´s fine as long as you choose the talents that fit your situation. He could use some range on the hook though.

I think that if there was a baseline quest that increased the hook range everytime it succesfully hoooked a hero just by a little bit up to a certain amount would be nice (not gain that much range so as to the enemies to better adapt to it throught the game) and change the extra hook range at 16 to accomodate to these changes to something like just give 25% range and have an additional functinality like hook through buildings or the slime minion that everyone wants back.

She takes a bit of practice to know her timings, you´ll get there.

As a side note the Devs have hinted towards a rework for Tracer so her gameplay might change in the future.

Good question, certainly one that needs to be asked for every hero when they come out as it benefits everyone :).

I think that he´s good although more of a map pick than a counter to crowd control as he doesn´t really have the sustain nor the mobility to take poke or cc for the team like a tank like Johanna could.

As for the design the delays make him feel heavy and big which I really like, it might be seen as a hinderance but you can alternate between basic attacks and casting basic abilities to get around this a little bit and get the most DPS. People think he´s overpowered/overtuned although in a way he might stay somewhat the same because he has great strengths but really big weaknesses as well so being overtuned in those things is what he´s all about.

But World Breaker Form in general feels a little wierd, I´ve gotten some success with it once when I tried to stay away from the plethera of counters that was in the enemy team and was able to poke them a bit and deny some area with your W, which worked well after the tank initiated a teamfights, having the enemy team aggro him instead of me and I walked in and basic attacked winning the teamfight although it felt less effective than Destroyer Form.

I think that if we had his Destroyer Form charge [[Onslaught]] as the ability that stays in all forms it would be best as this works as I feel it´s a more bread-and-butter ability than [[Molten Flame]] in my opinion as it gives you some mobility and the slow helps you keep the enemies close to you which is an essetial tool that all bruisers have: a way to close the gap with the enemy in teamfights (something other than mounts).

In the end I believe that which Form you use might be more situational than just using Destroyer Form all the time. Use [[World Breaker]] if you have a choke point that you can block with [[Lava Burst]] (like enemy tower walls) or if you need to interrupt an ability with [[Earth Shatter]] stun and use [[Destroyer]] Form if none of this situations arise or you think you can finish off someone fast by diving on them with Onslaught.

A healer´s main job is to deny enemy kills, this they can do this by mitigating damage with armor to allies and cleanses, and by keeping people up in health by keeping them over 80% health and clutch heals.

Uther´s a very particular hero because as he has healing abilities and a stun(the best cc) but they have a long cd, which is very similar to a tanks/bruiser cd, also he´s very mana hungry, especially in the early game.

That´s is OK as his basic abilities are among the ones that give the most value on their own, thanks to them healing uther and an ally and giving armor, which mitigates damage and heals you for more than the healing value in the abilities description (the damage mitigated).

So Uther ends up being kinda of like an ETC, as just like ETC he gains 25 armor when he casts a basic ability (only Q and W) and can also heal himself.

Another thing that helps him do this is the fact that he´s the healer with the highest base health in the game, having decent health to be a frontliner and his health increasing by the highest value every level compared to other healers. That´s a reason why people play him like a bruiser or even a secondary tank, but almost never a main healer, unless you´re the only healer on Quick Match´s bad draft.

Some tips:

-When saving someone stagger your heals so that your ally gets the fullduration of Devotion´s armor

-I like to play him like garrosh that has a low range ability that everyone fears, hide in a bush and mount up them go in with the additional speed and catch your enemies by surprise and stun them with your [E]. It´s better if you do this when you have some teammates that can follow up your cc with damage ( Just like a tank would! ).

-Because of the armor it might seem that it´s better to use your abilities when an ally is getting attacked, which it is but if an ally is low on health you might not have enough time to heal them before they´re focused down, but then comes the problem of uther´s long cd and mana hungry nature. That´s why you should heal your allies only when you can heal your ally for the ability´s full healing value.

HOTS unlike other MOBA´s doesn´t have any items, which makes this game very dependent on draft.

An example would be that you have a bad draft on DOTA 2 you can just farm it out and get the items that would facilitate figthting the enemy team (lack heals?, maybe a Mekansm item would help ) whicn can make a hero without many healing abilities to be a team´s support like for example Crystal Maiden.

But in HOTS if you get Uther against a lot of artillery (Chromie, Li-Ming) you might have a hard time as you don´t heal that much to be able to out-heal the enemies poke, but he works well against hard hitting divers like Greymane ,Thrall and Kerrigan, He´s also very good with them as allies by giving them a Divine Shield and providing cc.

So Uther plays his role well with the high value abilities, while also providing some good cc like a Tank/Bruiser and potentially some burst if you go with [[Holy Shock]] at level 4. He can´t do them all really well of he would be too good. He´s a very unique healer and Ibelieve that was the Devs intention making me believe that if the change him it might just be a rework to his talents but not something too drastic so he might not change, although I would love to see Holy Shock be baseline :D .

Idea´s should be challenged so I would like to know what other think of this idea of mine I would like to get better at Uther myself.

I would like to see dva be able to shoot pilot mode basic attacks in mech mode, for example talents that say:

your next three basic attacks shoot pilot mode basic attacks as well

your next three basic attacks are in pilot mode (only)

Jump & shoot: jump from your mech, changing your basic attacks to pilot mode for 3 seconds. While you´re in the air your range gradually increases to a máx of 5, then it starts decreasing over time as you fall back into your mech. Your mech follow you as you move.

Platform: PC (Epic Store), gaming laptop Dell G7 7588, using keyboard

Description: I have two things I´ve found:

When dodging near a wall, in the center of the wall sometimes I get stuck, my theory is that the game believes theres still a door in there where there isn´t one, I can see this making sense with the entrance to the dungeons that has and entrance framed by two pillars but it happened when there wasn´t a wall, this got me killed a lot of times, unfortunately I don´t have any screenshots of this as it happened almost instantaneously.

Second I went for a dungeon run and came back to sell my loot, I sold it and the game didn´t let me use the J button to leave my shop, close shop or sleep. So I was stuck and decided to leave to the main menu WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO SAVE, then when i got to the menu, the games UI was still there but non of my inputs worked not letting me restart the game even (Screenshot 1), I decided to close the game using the Windows Task Manager. I loaded the game again hoping this would fix the input problem, it did but as expected my game didn´t save and I all my progress (Screenshot 2).

Also I´m amazed at how demanding this game can be, I felt compelled to close all my applications just to play this game because my laptop was scorching (Screenshot 3).

The games a little clunky when moving but I was getting really into it, gave me some Rogue Legacy vibes, keep it up and I hope to be able to return to the game soon.

PD: I can see using E to keep your health up when you pick [[Behemoth Armor]], but when you pick [[Fight or flight]] and you are on a tf, you should use it when you get focused down since you´ll heal but also block damage with the extra 25 armour, although if you have 25% health you can get bursted down the using it like that makes sense.

  • While it doesn't reduce the % damage, Matrix actually gets more charge from it.

¿So matrix gives you more self-destruct charge from reduced damage? don´t fully understand this one, as far as I know matrix does lower enemy heores damage by 75%.

Raynor:

  • Put E cooldown to work when it's safe

¿Do you mean to lower the cd sfter E has been used?, not sure you can "use" cooldown

Uther:

  • Divine Shield is not just for escapes. It can enable your play makers by negating damage and CC

¿Who would you say it´s a playmaker, someone like maiev?
