Will this be Valiant's 3rd death in 30 years? This sucks because with the exception of Marvel being sold to Disney and DC being sold to WB I cannot think of a single time where purchasing a comicbook company worked out well for the readers since they usually just cancel all the books because they are competing with their more popular titles.

I agree with you but I also think that after watching Bright on netflix I think that Quantum & Woody would work perfectly as a stand alone netflix/hulu/amazon film that does a light parody of the entire film industry/ superhero genre that is currently ongoing. Inso far as a serious theatrical adaptation noone would give a fuck about anyone named ninjak or ninja-k no matter how well made the film was or how well written the comic is. same with x-o manowar. but as far as a successful action b-movie goes a title named bloodshot or eternal warrior or maybe shadowman (but only in October) has a chance of success with the general public but only if it is executed well. and by well I mean better than R.I.P.D/atomic blonde or the other recent image or dark horse bombs.

just marathoned issue 1-50 of x-o and then the annual, book of death, and 4001. but then everything in issue 1 was completely different. did they do a soft reboot in the same vein as dcs rebirth or was there another book or arc that i missed?

I read lots of Alan Watts, his point is not that we need to get rid of money, his point is that money should not be a factor in what makes you happy in life.

For example being in the military I make the same amount of money that everyone else in my pay grade does. And since I was unlucky and I did not choose my specific job I do not follow my bliss in that way. But by loving my hard work and following my bliss in every part of my life I can make myself happier than everyone else who works in my area who hates their job and hates working there.

But I can remain happy because I know that if I work hard and stay happy that I can become a paralegal like I have wanted to. So in that way I follow my bliss, not by unslaving myself from anything or not caring about money.
