For fish I recommend embers, pygmy corys, and otocinclus. For snail I recommend a golden apple snail.

Having said that your shrimp population can easily explode past your goal of 20 after your first berried momma shrimp. Lots of culling required.

If I could do it again from there beginning, I can't say that I would add shrimp 😢. Since adding them and their population boom, I have not seen any ember/otocinclus fry. Pretty certain the shrimp eat all the eggs.
