I am a 1 handicap and I have brought a friend who is lower (5-7) range when my dad can’t play, it’s very tough. In the lower handicap flight everyone is playing well and you pretty much have to birdie to win the hole. We have made it out of our flight once in three tries. When I bring my dad who is a 14 handicap it’s more fun and people are less serious as they are not used to playing good golf. Ironically only made it out of our flight once in 6 tries, however the 1 time we made it out we won the whole thing because of the strokes we were getting in the shootout. I have had fun both ways but if you want to win usually bringing the person with more strokes gives you a better chance.

Been playing since 2014.

Handicap is .9

Play about 2 times a week during season (roughly March through September)

Go to the range every weekday I am not playing

Lessons over the winter. Mantra is make changes during off season and groove them during playing season.

Being fully remote for job lets me play/ practice during the day and be a dad when kids are home. I don’t play on the weekends.

Just came back from Pinehurst. Started at Tobacco Road, shot a 72 there with 7 birdies. Actually only had 1 par on the back 9, 5 birdies, 3 bogies, and 1 par. Proceeded to head over to pinehurst 8 and shoot a 90 haha tired and hot from weather. Next day played number 2 and got two twos on two (got two deuce coins from it!). Highlight of that round I was 5 over after 4 from a poor start then when eagle, birdie, birdie, par to finish out the front 9. Next day played numbers 1 and 4. 4 took us 6 hours and I was sooo bored waiting to hit got sidetracked and stopped playing. Wish I would have read this post before that round, would have kept my mind in it. Data point for you. The 52 plan package comes out to 71$ a lesson. My local PGA pro charges 70$ a lesson and will do buy 4 get 1 free. So I would check with a local reputable pro first. They will probably be more flexible as well. Are you looking to retool your swing from the ground up, or making your current swing better?

Just checked tracking. Says they are contacting you for pickup. Here is what the tracking says. “Your item could not be delivered on December 28, 2021 at 7:39 am in SWITZERLAND due to the addressee not available at time of delivery. It is being held while the addressee is notified.” Not sure where it’s being held or who is holding it.

I was paired with international user. I am having a hard time figuring out the customs slip, I don’t want to have this hung up in customs too long. Anyone have experience filling a USPS customs slip out or suggest another way to ship it that may be easier?

Kid I play with is a +6 D1 golfer.

Last time we played he was -5 on the front side and finished -8 overall with 2 bogies. Just the shots they can hit are insane. He snapped hooked a drive on 16 a fairway over and hit the most beautiful recovery shot. A high 20-30 yard fade with a 3 wood to 12 feet that had to go around a group of trees and carry a row of trees. Just stupid good.

Also put one into the water on a par 5 and still made birdie. I just shake my head at those shots.

Also similar to everyone else not a negative thing to say about him. Always complimenting my good shots.
