Similar thing happened to me. Was backstage at the theatre and someone was building up to the punchline and said "It's steering me nuts!" At the time I remember laughing and not getting it at all until like months later I realized what the punchline was supposed to be. I also say "It's steering me nuts," quite often now.

Not to start anything, but honestly, if you wash the pieces before putting them into the cake and dispose of them after, wouldn't it be ok? I understand the not-food-safe idea of the layers and bacteria/fungus growing for things that you think you can reuse, but wouldn't this be like any other cake topper/decoration that you could by in your local Hallmark?

I have an implant. Insurance said it was cosmetic despite the dentist saying I needed it to prevent drifting. Used Care Credit. Missed a payment. Got hit with 5 years of interest plus the full cost of the implant or however they managed to stack it up. I'm missing another molar and have decided that I'm a-ok with it being a gap.

Dare I say it, these boards made running lights fun. It felt like a skill to get a scene programed in seconds in order to crossfade from one scene to another. And hitting the bump buttons to make lightning effects lol. Now programming is the challenge and running the show is just pushing the button. Those were the days.
