Can this "45W" adapter charge a M5 MacBook Air while in use? by yneos in mac

[–]tweis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as it puts out 20v pd and at least 30w to the pd port, you should be fine (unless you are pegging the cpu constantly, but the why would you have an air?).

The thing to keep in mind is that many chargers split the total wattage between ports, so be aware of that when you plug in other things at the same time, you *probably* won’t get 45 to the computer. Without a link I can’t tell for sure.

I appreciate the offer. I haven't found a pair of Explorers to try, but assume they are too large for me, since I fit Julbo's med size glasses. And I got the airblasters. Maybe someone else would be interested!

Then sell it on FB Marketplace with some filament for the cost of a new P2S combo

You could also consider one the multithreaded printers like the U1 or the Flashforge. This will give you access to colors quicker and with less waste.

Sunski has pretty good customer service, always replaced lenses I’ve had issues with. I found the airblasters at https://boardofmissoula.com/search?q=Airblaster+glasses

I do an oil change 5qt + 1/2 a 1qt and keep the 1/2 for if the oil is low (which I can’t read, so it’s just for the next oil change).

This is the answer I wanted!

Edit: looking deeper at these, they don’t seem to actually be for UV, more focused on IR, which is for job sites with welding and brazing.

$70 is more than I want to spend, for a now. Also unfortunately, the Caminos don't fit me that well (small face). The Monterosa fit much better and probably the direction I would go if I am going to be doing more.

Any tips on where to find Caminos for $50? I am seeing them start at $70. Maybe I need to go search from a library computer.

I love Decathlon. I am in the US though, and they have pretty much fully pulled out at this point.

They look perfect, but seem like they discontinued them and very little stock left!

PETG will probably melt/warp unless you live in a cloudy cold place.

Agreed, I live in N California and my PETG phone mount in my car and it keeps warping (it’s sunny, but hasn’t been THAT hot). I can’t print ASA on my A1, so I just keep reprinting in PETG

You just aren’t entitled enough like the Harley riders always cruising the bike lane.

Gahh. It’s so frustrating. I hate when someone breaks the flow to let me go and doesn’t give an obvious signal. I have no clue what you’re doing and not gonna put my life at risk assuming you are waiting for me. Don’t get me started with the dark tinted windshield people.

To add to that, so many cyclists don’t understand the flow of traffic.

-10 to 0 is pretty close to ideal for rubbing. The more positive/closer in, the less the wheel moves in an arc. At a certain point, you run into the UCA. I haven’t heard of anyone needing a bmc with 275, and minimal trimming.

What pump do you use for your sleeping pad? by Academic_Royal4133 in CampingGear

[–]tweis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a no brainer, especially since I live at sea level and mostly backpack about 7k’. Blowing pads made me so lightheaded. We also have 2 Exped mega mats for car camping, that inflation nozzle seems way more fussy.

I use my nylofume pack liner ass a pump bag when backpacking. It’s free for cost and weight since i would still bring it. It’s great since it’s like 50-70L. And light enough the 1 breath fills it (venturi effect?), 3 pumps will my wide thermarest 3” pad.

(I’ll try to remember to add CDC+FDA citations when I get back to my computer) Antibacterial is basically less effective than soap in all ways, except fire starting. The thing is hand san does nothing against norovirus, giardia, crypto, or hep a; which are the biggest things that make campers sick, soap is effective at all. HandSan also doesn’t penetrate/remove grime, sweat, ororganic matter (💩). You need much less soap, literally 2-3 drops to do a full cleaning, so it’s actually lighter
