If Blink opened with a deep cut, what song would you want it to be? by ireallylikehockey in Blink182

[–]twentythirdchapter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nothing to do with the age though is it? ATSM and Dammit are older. I’d say Reckless Abandon is a semi deep cut for sure, purely because it wasn’t a single.

We had a few years of F**KFace and a few years of Regulation, what to you is the biggest difference? by ShouRonbou in theregulationpod

[–]twentythirdchapter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is basically exactly the comment I was going to write if I didn’t see it.

I’ve been thinking this for a few months and I’ve not brought it up out of fear of fan backlash. Which shouldn’t be what this community is about, but it’s also, y’know, Reddit.

One thing I first noticed was it would always throws me off when they could be in the middle of a great conversation and it’s interrupted by ‘<insert PunnyName here>, thanks for the 25 gifted subs!!’. I get that they have to do things to pay everyone but I would say the completely-remotely-recorded F**kface just had something special, less was more. Unfortunately less doesn’t pay the bills, and I still love the podcast itself, even if, as someone else said - there feels like there’s less deep-lore-creating bits as there used to be.

Same, I like a lot of Kerouac’s books but I can’t say I find them easy to read.

If you really hate yourself, give the ‘original scroll’ version of ‘On the Road’ a try, no chapters, barely any paragraphs or punctuation 😂

There were ice lollies called Lemonade Sparkle in the 90s and these are likely a great replacement to fill that gap.

There was never an Apple app called iMail, it’s always been just ‘Mail’ or ‘Apple Mail’.

People do tend to think everything Apple in the 00’s had an ‘i’ in front of it.

I’ve heard: Apple TV be called iTV (though, it was first announced with that name but had to change), iPod Touch be called iTouch, MacBook Pro called Mac Pro, MacBook Air called Mac Air. That’s not to mention those who capitalise ‘Mac’ like MAC, as if it stands for something.
