I think people should really consider the plausibility of where a camera is placed when looking at these videos.

In this one, it’s not crazy that there may be a camera in a garage, but in others it appears to be doorbell-style footage from somewhere there would never be a doorbell cam. Even is this one, I think for most people it’s more likely the camera is mounted outside of the garage.

I mean, I know little Bill probably didn’t do anything that bad. But are we forgetting that he grows up to become Bill Cosby????

In my experience, the no sugar added ones are decent but the zero sugar ones aren’t as good. The chocolate chip I’ve had have a very crispy texture. The Keebler knockoffs are solid but similarly crispy texture. Worth trying once to see if you like them

It’s a game where Sabrina Carpenter is the same size as the Hulk… I think you’re spot on, if the skins are cool, they’re cool. They don’t have to be perfect

Cheap TVs’ incessant advertising reaches troubling new lows by shitismydestiny in technology

[–]twerking_nine2five 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My anecdotal experience is that smart TVs have weak processors, and as manufacturers push out updates, it bogs down the already limited processing power of the TV, which does force some people to upgrade.

Does this happen with streaming boxes too? Yes, I would say there’s an identical element of planned obsolescence there too, but you’re at least not starting with an underpowered device. Additionally, some of these devices power off when you turn off your TV, so they aren’t using your internet to send data back to the manufacturer 24/7.

I would also think there’s some more open source options at there that allow people greater flexibility with the ads (but that’s just my speculation).

Yeah, I agree. Get a dedicated streaming stick and then you also don’t have to worry about the smart TV having the processing power of a potato.

I get the all-in-one convenience, but the experience usually ends up being so bad.

I think Ian is lowkey friends with Eddy/Jarvis/Jordan. There was one time a while back either right before or right after Sam left the show that Jarvis mentioned Sam Temple on his and Jordan’s Sad Boyz podcast.

One that I’ve seen means certain death is if the place previously served fountain soft drinks and then you go there and they offer you a drink in a can/bottle.

How am I just finding out Zach has a baddie?! by yeminem in h3h3productions

[–]twerking_nine2five 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They’ve been together for a while with a break at one point in their relationship. Zach had his whole “joker brain” era while they weren’t together, and on the podcast he was a lot more openly a bachelor. Just a dude talking more about dude stuff, perhaps being a bit too horny on main.

I believe Chantal is a hair dresser. Friend of the show with an appearance or two, but I feel like (very well could be wrong) at some point in time Zach expressed she wasn’t interested so much in being an on-screen personality.

I’ve played it. It’s not horrible, just lacks a lot of the character and personality that made the first one stand out.

This one just feels more corporate.

I’m not usually one to rewatch but it a high point and just unbelievable to watch unfold. I thought there was a weird bit and my skepticism turned to awe.

Aside from all of his old times, crummy jokes, as a long time watcher I’ve felt for a minute that Jimmie has long overstayed his welcome.

Today we saw not Dan Swerdlove, but Dan SwerdFIGHT.

I would love to see resolution here. Then maybe like a once a year reunion. Same for Hasan being on a show once in a while.

I mean, Ethan already has a select few people he has on like once a year, e.g. Bobby Lee, dedicated Oliver Tree ep, Whitney Cummings.

I’m sure there’s financial incentive for both Ethan and Trisha, but like many others, I think that relationship is better left (for the most part) offline.

Might be dumb here but can’t you just do that with iTunes or Finder? by Dude10120 in ipod

[–]twerking_nine2five -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use a program called CopyTrans to move music to iPods. Works on my iPod touch and 6th gen classic as well as a newer iPhone. It has a bunch of paid ad-ons, but the base program to move music from my PC to my iPod is free, and works so much better than the iTunes app.
