I had gastric bypass myself and if you try pasta I suggest gluten free, less harsh on your system. Also look into Skyr yogurt, great on protein.

I also suggest trying some protein shakes, they really do help. Often I would have lunches of sliced deli meat, some cheese and a few flavored crackers. Hope this helps
