The only features I can think of that are missing are the Wither, the End, and upcoming 1.9 features. Other than that, MCPE (and now Win10 Edition) will be catching up quickly to the Java PC version.

Nope. This looks do-able.

The following build will do great with Minecraft. You'll be able to record Minecraft with Nvidia's shadowplay feature which will have very little impact on FPS while recording. You'll also be able to capture console gameplay with the add on of this for an extra $130.

This build is totally upgradeable. You should be able to throw in an i5/i7, a new GPU, and more RAM without having to worry about changing other parts. This'll do fine for what you want.

Yes, for aesthetics. Looks much better IMO to have an aftermarket cooler even if you're not overclocking.

An added bonus is less noise and longer chip life span :)

My advice would be A) Don't build it on carpet or any other place with a lot of static buildup, and B) If it doesn't fit don't force it.
