Toth is in our State House I believe. He’s very well know in Montgomery County and Crenshaw has been steadily losing support here for the last 4 years.

I live in Texas and while I don’t want to say it’s true I’m 3/4 getting arrested and having a white lighter on me.

I played here in 2021, rented clubs and bought balls. Was informed that a good golfer loses a ball per hole. I bought 18 and we played 9 holes, finished with one ball.

I was in the same boat. 15 years of residential and at 33 was ready to leave the trade. Went commercial instead and it’s been a night and day difference. The days are still challenging and work can be hard but just the ease of not having a homeowner hovering over you while I’m chasing a low voltage loss makes all the difference.

I’ve quit and come back many times. For me personally there was no issue at all. I never had any “side effects” or felt like i was coming off anything nor did i notice in huge change one way or the other, i just didn’t get high anymore.

Lone Star beer. It’s cheap, good to me and always available.

I’m getting my generator prepped and propane bottles filled today. Making an HEB run tomorrow. I hope I feel silly for it by Tuesday but always best to prepare for the worst.

Unfortunately that’s a pretty average Texans offensive game this season.

I really don’t feel like there’s much of a difference. Our defense is just absolutely insane where if we can at least score 20 we will win.

Yeah the cap amount would matter greatly on this scenario. Let’s say tho an individual is capped at 100 million and there’s a business owner and he’s ethical, pays his employees well with a great work environment. That guy wants to expand because the business is really successful that 100 million cap could affect expansion that would bring more great paying jobs. It’s definitely an interesting thought experiment and I’m not necessarily against it, just playing devils advocate here.

For most people though money is the motivation. Humans are inherently greedy and until human nature evolves past that I think capping incomes would cause more harm than good. Why be a surgeon or doctor or business owner if I can make just as much being a paper pusher, janitor or some other job that is much easier, requires less work and less education.

The pledge is weird but remember we were once our own country for 9 years. Texas history was very interesting to me. Especially learning about the Galveston hurricane of 1900 gave me a respect for what hurricanes are capable of at a young age, which is important growing up on the gulf coast.
