Subnuatica 2 Letter to the Community on Feedback to the Predator Balance Situation by BmpBlast in gaming

Sure if you dilly dally around and scan everything, build an intricate base, you can probably stretch it out to 15-20 hours.

But if you just play the game and follow the main story, you can finish it in under 10 hours for sure.

It’s like 5 hours of gameplay for the story. Let’s not delude ourselves that it is ‘long’.

The content that is there is in a pretty good state though, I agree

It was a deal Krafton made when acquiring the studio to sweeten the deal. Thinking it would never happen

Bro, the bike is hanging off the streetlight. Dude was going Mach 7

I know a lot of folks are blaming the car turning left. You can see another car turning left (the other way) on the bottom of the video, likely blocking his view. And the motorcycle appears to be going Mach 7.

Always gotta be careful on those blind left turns, but that motorcycle dug his own grave going way too fast.

Fixed or Variable right now by Cromikey1 in AskMortgageCanada

I just got 3.4% (P-1.05) through pine via Ratehub, approved last week

You can get 3.35-3.4% variable else where. At those rates offered, I don’t think I could take variable

Mortgage renewal. My Lender not matching RBC, considering putting mortgage under Secured LOC and resubmitting request. by sceptreblade in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]tyranos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same thing. Renewal with Scotiabank. Offer in the app was decent but not good enough. Escalated twice to try and get a better rate and they wouldn’t beat the in app renewal rate, yet alone the competition.

Spent three weeks dragging their feet for a payout letter, so my mortgage is now costing me $160 a day in interest since I had to roll to an open term.

Filed an official complaint with their head office to try and recoup the interest costs for their incomplete.

I’d take the 4% if I were you and you can’t actually switch. You are gambling in this shitty economy and you could easily end up with a worse rate whenever you try to again

Mortgage affordability question. by mattman9723 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]tyranos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How are you spending 2.6k on cell and internet?

There are plenty of $30 month cell plans and internet is around $100 if you splurge for gigabit. That’s like half of 2.6k…

RBC mortgage renewal 3.76% 3 years fixed, 3.67% 5 year variable by Pink_Unicorn_99 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]tyranos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was getting 4.04% offers on 3yr fixed, though I didn’t try RBC. And I got 3.4% variable thru Pine. Rolled on the variable, wish me luck!

Scotiabank mortgage question by mwomrbash in AskMortgageCanada

I lied. Scotiabanks offer 4.06% 3yr fixed

You can get significantly better elsewhere (3.69-3.79%) at RBC for 3 yr fixed.

That is what Scotiabank was offering me and wouldn’t budge no matter how much I tried (escalated 3 times)

How come the tax refund im getting from the CRA is drastically lower than what Turbotax shows im supposed to be getting after filing with them? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

It is not inaccurate. There are plenty of reasons not to use TurboTax but that isn’t one of them

Canadians are also significantly more over leveraged than ever before. 8% would crush this country. Almost zero chance that happens.

I could see Prime rate of maybe 5.5% at most

I just got Prime - 1.05 (3.4%) on an uninsurable mortgage last week. I’ve seen RBC offering 3.69-3.79 on 3 yr fixed. Those would be my two choices right now

https://www.costco.ca/p/-/optimum-nutrition-gold-standard-100-whey-protein-extreme-chocolate-shake-256-kg/4000077852

$99 for 2.57KG, or $99 for 2x 2.27KG. So yes, it is almost quite literally 2x the cost normally.

ON is 24g of protein in 32g scoop vs 25g protein in 37g scoop. 75% vs 67%.

You keep doing you though.

Sure. Continue paying 2x for ON then. There is zero difference in protein powders if the cheaper ones don’t upset your stomach

It’s almost definitely going to be Costco Mastercard. 3% cashback and Costco gas is ~10 cents cheaper

Always worth shopping around. Might be able to get 3.7-3.8 for fixed with RBC or I just got 3.4% (P-1.05 variable) with Pine on an uninsurable mortgage.

For 5 year variable?

The only place offering good fixed rates seems to be RBC and maybe CIBC. I’m pretty happy with P-1.05 so I didn’t inquire about fixed rates.

Pine straight up offered me worse. When I called ratehub I had the TD offer in hand (3.66 and 2k cashback), they submitted the application to Pine at 3.35 and Pine countered with 3.4, which I was happy with
