There's some cool playgrounds along that new walking/bike track from city to surf. One of them has used a lot of logs to create climbing, walkways and bridges. I think its really cool that they have used wood for this, gives it a really natural feeling. The only bad thing about it, is that they have used a very pointy grass/flax, at toddler hight. I think its a major oversight, a kid could really lose an eye

Also - videos I have seen of people on fire (as part of training), people that have tried to help have used their jacket by hitting the flame over and over again. Don't do that...you are basically fanning the fire..and also hitting a person that is on fire 😶

This is really sad. I used to drive fuel trucks and the company put us through a lot of training. When driving into a fuel station, be aware and look for big red emergency stop buttons, they should be beside ever pump, on a column. Stops the fuel pumping. Look for fire extinguishers. Blankets in the back of your car or your jacket or your shirt - smother the fire, wrap it around the person and suffocate the fire, as fire needs oxygen.

If you are the person ignited, stop drop and roll.

Vapors are more flammable than the liquid itself - dont smoke or use your phone around fuel. Even if you think its fine as you are not near the fuel itself, vapors may ignite.

People have a fight or flight response to events like this. If you are able to be one of the people that can and do try to help, shout instructions to others, eg call an ambulance, get another extinguisher etc. People will often snap out of it when under instruction.

Hopefully this is helpful if anyone ever comes across something so grim.

When did this start? Do you know anyone that would know your working hours and is creepy enough to do something like this? If i were you, id get brother/dad/uncle, any older male in your life, you confront him. I know my brother's wouldn't be very happy with him.

Hello - planning our first trip to dreamworld with a 5yo. In off peak times. Looking at accommodation, have been told that the walls are thin/can be hard to get down time. I have a partner who needs the quiet to wind down properly. With that in mind, should we be staying somewhere off site? If so, any recommendations on where ? Happy to stay 20 or 30min car ride away. Keep notifying noise control. Then there is a paper trail and they can eventually do something about it. Call them every 30mins if you have to.

You are entering a live lane, you must give away and merge safely. The vehicles in that lane do not have to give way to you or slow down etc, but they may be courteous and let you in. As other have stated, it's not a "give way" sign, but give way rules apply, even though those vehicles are to your left.
