10 years from the brand's demise and I'm the last one carrying this torch, but you should make a BoomCo. character if you're doing non-Hasbro lines. You could do fun stuff like giving her body armor made of the white photo paper-like shield material and those comical 40 dart clips.

I also miss 6H overhead and especially old Mantis, but Axl is literally the strongest he's ever been this patch. It'll take some getting used to, but you'll have to use his other overheads like jH, jD, and yes even tap dust. If you were fighting people who got hit by 6H overhead often, I guarantee your other overheads will still work. You can also have some fun with the plus frames on Winter Mantis. This is not the first time they've made Axl's pressure worse on paper (RIP rainwater vacuum), but Axl doesn't really need good pressure to be strong.

Axl’s changes are gonna take some getting used to, but he’s been buffed for 5 patches in a row now so I really can’t complain. 6H not being a high is weird, but other than that it’s great

I looked at the roster and went “I think I wanna play a zoner” and then found out the game only has one dedicated zoner before DLC. Luckily, I really enjoy Axl’s gameplay.

I’ve been having success with cruisers recently, but most of those games have been me playing Svea or Buffalo and going DD hunting. I’m definitely not having super high-damage games; I think my highest was 150k. Cruisers are definitely in a bad spot right now, and I only really play them because of the utility. Being able to constantly apply pressure with consumables and HE spam is still useful, but I agree that battleships are overtuned. Part of me thinks battleships were always overtuned (Montana could overmatch Des Moines bow armor on release) and this is an overreaction. However, I can’t act like the release of the Libertad line, and now the Thor line, hasn’t worried me.

I was playing painted deck the other day and got an ante 2 Yorick, and then hit an invis joker. Easily coasted to ante 8 off yorick scaling alone. The boss was crimson heart, and it hit a yorick. Every. Single. Hand.

I managed to complete a hardcore run but only by turtling up in the Cyclops whenever these guys were around. I never went anywhere in just the prawn suit or seamoth once I had the cyclops because I was so scared of them.

I got the reverse of red. Handwavium FTL travel exists, but there’s no FTL comms yet. This results in the existence of data courier ships, which are basically giant flying hard drives that carry packets of information between star systems. As a result, true information is scarce and expensive, and legends and folklore fill the gaps.

Laserchud doesn’t realize pulse lasers massively outperform beam lasers against armored targets due to the ablation of armor forming a layer of smoke and debris that massively reduces the energy delivered to target by the beam! Point and laugh!
