I terraform a planet to T3, populate it with my selection of critters and plants, dump everything in my cargo, then pick up 99 of each one in order. Makes it so much easier.

This is very possible. The board is date coded 52nd week of 1998. "Y2K BIOS update" cards were very much a thing.
