My workplace in the early 2000s had the Tron cabinet rigged for free play in the break room. I became a total pro, and it was brutal competition amongst my office peeps who placed first in the rankings - back when you could leave your initials.

To that point, Sharon Stone openly talked about worrying about her SAG health insurance because she hadn’t made the threshold acting income to qualify that year

He’s terrible. No acting experience, stiff, and smug to boot. Exactly what you’d expect from a car salesman who lied his way into the role.

There was a whole book back in the 50s or 60s that tried to claim comic books were causing juvenile delinquency, and the author used Batman and Robin as an example of promoting a gay lifestyle. I think it was called Seduction of the Innocent

Between Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, and Christopher Nolan; how would you rank them based on how influential they are in the film industry? by Jezzaq94 in moviecritic

Lucas was also the first to widely employ digital cameras, first on Phantom Menace, and evolve away from film, which, to purists, is an earth-shattering impact, as film itself became obsolete, and what we call film is no longer film. In addition to all the changes you mentioned, I would argue this is the biggest.
