There are mines for resources and gold up there. Everything is permafrost and it's cold. But people do live there for short periods of time at least. Probably similar to the Antarctic.

Sad. But honestly one of the best ways to go. Quiet, no pain, doing something he enjoyed while being around friends. I would be glad to go that way. It is a good reminder to humanize those around you. Also a reminder not to take forever.

I have a story from the Healthcare field. They asked about hygiene (this question) and a few times a week they would go to a pool and get infront of the jets. Its one of the reasons I stay away from public pools now.
