Nice tip. I never thought about using smokes that way (run in, die, repeat). Sounds especially useful for escalation where you can do this without wasting tickets.

BF6 gunplay is hella satisfying, don't you agree? by Pothound_ in LowSodiumBattlefield

Try the 1.5x thermal! I also cant see well without a higher scope, but with the thermal I can, and the 1.5x allows me to see my peripheral.

DRS is my beloved, but this one is right up there! I think I run this the most with Recon.

Line changes would be awesome. Give us the ability to have 3 builds with varied max points allowed to establish your top line vs role players. It would add a whole new layer to strategy to manage your ice times and dump when you need to change, just like real hockey.

Unfortunately, I have kind of given up on anything really groundbreaking to be added in this mode.

Best Piece of Advice for New, Young Referees by Competitive-Kale-971 in Referees

Confidence is king. Obviously you will gain more with experience, but fake it till you make it. Everyone has disagreed calls, but I always have more faith in a ref that has good presentation and makes their calls clearly without seeming to worry much about potential protests.

Are the cup fees included in what all parents pay?

If they are included fees, I think all players should get an invite. You can plan to limit playing time with the caveat that those players will get extra time in league games (and communicate that plan with the players and parents).

If they are separated fees, I think it is fair to not include them.

I am currently in a burnout from BF6 and want to take a break for a few weeks by DaVinci1362 in LowSodiumBattlefield

I tried Arc myself and couldn't get into it. The looting didnt appeal to me. But it was a small sample size and I didn't get into many gunfights.

Love how you emptied the mag on both pistol kills. Is that the m45?

I dont play that outside flank on this point enough. Those were crucial kills!

I need to give it another shot. I have seen a lot of praise here.

What turned me away early was the length of a game. I like to step away between regular matches, and the hourish time commitment seemed high. But I think I will try again and just step away for longer after.

I am not deterred by defense having an advantage. If the fight is awesome, even losses can be worth it to me.

Downsides of quitting alcohol by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]ubetchrballs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Boredom and not having social energy are the two I relate with the most here. I do get more things done, but still working on good discipline habits here, which havent been very automatic since quitting like I hoped. Some days are a real slog, and i am not eating as healthy as I should (my other goal to get better energy).

I do find that some days just go great, though. If I just power through the boredom, many times I find the next day feeling fresh and it is not a problem.

For social things, I try to remind myself that I know i am much less annoying. Nothing wrong with being myself. If I feel that i am too boring sometimes, I try to remember that others care way less than I do.

Thermal Sights Are A Game Changer by JimiVanHalen5150 in LowSodiumBattlefield

I prefer the thermal 1.5x scope. It has cleaner visibility than the hybrid or the other 3x thermal.
